The Porsche European Open is an absolute must for all golf enthusiasts. It is one of the two European Tour tournaments on German soil. It takes place every year and until 2017 has been held in Bavaria - from then on the north of Germany on the Green Eagle golf course near Hamburg became its new home. The Porsche Nord Course is the longest course on the European Tour and at the same time, from the champion tees, the most difficult course in Germany.

Last year, the event recorded a visitor high of 15,500 spectators on Sunday alone. First place was taken by Paul Casey (England).
